My work is centered on the idea that true healing is slow, relational, and embodied. I take a nonpathologizing and systems-oriented view, and my approach prioritizes you feeling safe, seen, and able to bring your full authentic self into the therapeutic space. Our work together will be tailored to your specific needs and experiences, and grounded in accessing your own unique wisdom. It is my hope and belief that through the therapy process we can find pathways toward your expanded embodiment, coherence, and connectedness. I enjoy supporting clients who come in with a variety of lived experiences including (but not limited to) neurodiversity, chronic illness, grief and loss, individual and collective trauma, marginalization, shame, and the many forms of interpersonal wounding that can impact our ability to feel whole and connected.
I received my Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and have experience in case management, healthcare, and crisis intervention, as well as individual and group therapy. Prior to social work I held a variety of roles, including in hospice and end-of-life care, gardening and farming, outdoor education, and more, all of which inform my current practice. Outside of my clinical work you can find me creating, reading and learning, spending time in nature, and being with loved ones.
